Today’s post will be about Jesus as our Savior.
As Savior, Luke 2:11 states clearly that Christ came to save sinners. Acts 5:31 further states that God exalted Him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Isreal to repentance and forgive their sins.
Christ speaking in John 6:37 said, “All those that the Father gives to me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” Therefore on Earth, God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, allowing him to go around and heal all those who were under the power of the devil, as stated in Acts 10:38.
Now, He has gone to prepare for us a home in heaven. All those saved by his ministry on Earth are encouraged in Philippians 3:20 when he said, “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
We will be with Him in heaven if we have repented and made Him our Lord and Savior. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
