Every Believer as the “Called”

A believer in theology, has a specific religious faith, as stated in Webster’s Universal Unabridge dictionary. In Christendom, this is someone who believes Jesus Christ came from heaven, was persecuted, and crucified on the cross before being buried, then on the third day, arose, because the grave cannot hold him down. After rising from the dead, he appeared before his disciples and other citizens before finally ascending to heaven, where he is now interceding for his followers until his second coming.
However, before he went to heaven he said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:8) This is Jesus’ charge to all his believers, as he wishes everyone to spread his word and meet him in Heaven.

With this statement, Jesus explains that, even if you are not called specifically, every believer has to speak, preach, and tell the world about the good news for which Jesus came. He died for sinners and redeemed humanity from the curse of the law. He wishes for all people to spend eternity with Him.

Thank you for reading! I will post again on August 5th.
