A Believer In Need

Challenges occur regularly, and a believer will face some at a point in their life. We should not think that because we proclaim Jesus Christ as our savior, we will not face the things that happen to non-believers. What makes our lifestyle unique is our faith, belief, and hope in the Bible. The word of God!

Many Bible passages tell us what God believes we should do when challenges arise. An example is Philippian 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” We should also have the same mindset as Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” This thought can further be expanded in Psalm 50:10, “For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.” Our lives have been pre-planned; the God we serve has seen ahead and provided us with a way to confidently encourage and make us triumph in these trials. “With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies,” Psalm 108:13.

All we have to do to quiet the disturbance in our spirit can be found in Joshua 1:8, as commanded by the Lord: “Keep this book of the law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you may be prosperous and successful.”

Remember that believers are not immune to the challenges of life, however, our faith and beliefs cause us to triumph over issues of the world. Cheers!
